The company was started in 1990 by highly qualified engineers under the name Artech Labs to meet the need of specialized electronic instrumentation which was not available at that time. The company had a strong bias towards custom design of specialized scientific and professional electronic equipment. The range of products developed was wide and varied as were the customers and applications. After years of achievement, Artech concentrated in the areas of temperature measurements& controls, humidity measurement and gas analysers.

In 1991, Artech Instruments & Controls Pvt. Ltd was incorporated to take over the activities of Artech Labs and to proceed for further expansion. Artech has been a leading supplier of Temperature Controllers to major boiler and furnace manufacturers. Artech’s range of instruments for the steel industry has been widely accepted by most Steel plants in India. Artech’s Molten Metal Temperature measurement system hasmore than a 1000 installations in India and abroad. Artech’s Gas Analysers are widely used by leading gas plant manufacturers, and also in the steel, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and other organisations like ISRO,HAL, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Nuclear Power Corporation etc. Artech also supplies and supports a range of related products of international repute.

The Company is ISO 2009 (2008) certified and hasa well-equipped factory premised in MIDC, Andheri (E), Mumbai, India meeting all the norms of a modern Industrial production facility. The manufacturing unit has the latest equipment and technology so as to deliver a high level of efficiency, facilitating the maintenance of excellent work culture.
